Our free community meal program is entering into its 14th year after serving 6,635 meals in 2010. The kitchen crew is made up of 2-4 volunteers from five churches (St. Basil Catholic, Hope Reformed, Casco United Methodist Church, Solomonâ��s Temple, Peace Lutheran) or from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) or the Rotary. Food for the meals is supplied by various groups in South Haven and Food for America.

Instructor: Julia VanOrman. Artistic expression in the form of painting is exciting, energizing, and incredibly freeing! In this six week class discover your artistic voice as you explore painting and the joy of color. The course will cover material introductions, color mixing, color theory, painting approaches in all painting mediums, and composition through weekly demonstrations as well as providing inspiration for individual expression.

Once a year, musicians and recording artists from the Wepecket Island Records label tour the nation together, performing in concert halls, churches, houses, libraries, taverns and coffeehouses. Members of the troupe hop on and off the "train," but the company maintains a corps of at least four and as many as nine performers who gleefully spread the word and song of America's history, ending each show with a participatory audience jam session and sing-around.

Tim was born and raised in SW Michigan. As a young boy he was greatly influenced by two of his uncles who played flamenco guitar. He would listen for hours as they played the old Spanish ballads from Puerto Rico. His uncle gave him a guitar at 13 years old and Tim was hooked. He is known for his 70's & 80's style and features the music of artists like: Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, America, Poco, Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, Cat Stevens, CSNY, Van Morrison, Jim Croce, John Denver and Paul Simon.

Got Talent? HarborFest Got Talent is looking for you! The contest is open to any acts, all ages, from anywhere. The winner takes the $1000 Grand Prize, plus the opportunity to showcase their act on the Harborfest Mainstage in South Haven on June 14 and 16, 2012! Auditions take place at Foundry Hall on April 15, April 29 and May 6 from 1:00-5:30 pm. The top 10 acts will showcase their talents at Foundry Hall at the Friday, May 18, Semifinals!

As we archive the technological/historical progress of humanity onto the internet we have created a "technosphere" which is wrapping our planet with a massive amount of cyber-material, information and thoughts. Julian Lauzzana pulls files from our collective archive and does live mixing/layering of visuals on a projected screen with a blending of electronic and live acoustic sound. This is a creative love/hate play with the tools and data of the "technosphere" which surround humanity.

Wisaal- an Arabic word meaning links, connections, or unities- reflects an attempt to fuse elements of Arabic musical heritage with Klezmer, Indian, and American influences while respecting the spirit of these traditions. Classical Arabic pieces become frameworks within which traditional Arabic forms and rhythmic patterns blend with Western harmonic backgrounds and rhythmically charged pop and world-music grooves. Instrumentation includes: oud, percussion, bass, clarinet, mandolin and tabla.

Kalamazoo's JR Clark Band is fresh off their latest release JR Clark "Alive" at The Midway. The two disc cd set was recorded in front of a packed house in Mishawaka, IN and the energy from that night was really captured in the performance. This 4-piece band brings many flavors in their performance from Chicago Blues, to soul and even a little southern rock. These guys do it all. No show is the same.
