In an attempt to remind people of the fading rural life, participants in the 12th annual Photo and Art Contest were challenged to capture ‘Animals on the Farm’ in their work. Over 100 pieces are on display within the walls of the 12,000 square foot facility located in downtown Coopersville. They have been submitted by children; both home schooled and in area schools, starting at age 4 and all the way through High School age, and by adults; professional photographers and artists, novice/amateurs, hobby artists, and teachers of all ages. The Coopersville Farm Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during October and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday during November and December. Cost for admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 12 or younger. Tuesday, Acoustic Jam Night will be held at the Coopersville Farm Museum and Event Center, 375 Main Street, Coopersville from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Folk music, bluegrass, country, and old time gospel on the CFM Stage will have you tapping your toes in no time! Up to 35 local musicians sign up to perform a song or two, so it’s a night filled with variety and wonder. Gather around the punch bowl to visit with friends and enjoy refreshments provided by mu Doors open at 5pm for musicians to sign in to play Admission: $4 per person, members and children ages 12 & under are free.
