Daniel Bair will be talking about The Farm at St. Joseph's hospital. The hospital is starting to grow much of its own food, in part using two (of a planned twelve) unheated hoop houses. Extra produce will be sold at twice-weekly market days, and also go to Food Gatherers to provide fresh produce to folks who might otherwise not be able to afford it. Daniel will discuss the farm, the hoop houses, and what it's like growing food for the hospital's use. Optional Potluck at 6:30 and Grange meeting afterward No RSVP needed.
