7:00 pm State Police Marijuana Education Presentation
Lieutenant Andy Fias of the Michigan State Police will present a program to educate area citizens about marijuana. He will explain the difference between the new marijuana and the marijuana of old (including physical and psychological dangers), will describe what local law enforcement officers are seeing, and talk about what has happened in the State of Colorado since recreational marijuana was legalized. The presentation lasts just over an hour with the opportunity for audience questions at the end. Lieutenant Fias has worked in the area of drug enforcement locally for many years. He has had additional, specialized marijuana education training in Colorado. (more)
