This Free event helps disabled Veterans have fun, and thanks them for their outstanding service to our country. In addition to the charter boat fishing opportunities, the “Pier, Shore and River Division” has expanded to include opportunities for Veterans to fish from the pier or go wading and canoeing on the beautiful river. All the awards and gifts provided are available to both divisions.

A charter bus will transport guests on a guided history tour of all 4 lights along the shore, led by Jack and Elaine Buege, former board member and lighthouse keepers. Starting at White River Light Station, the group will head to Little Sable Point, with time for a picnic lunch at Stearns Park in Ludington, a trip to climb or photograph the Ludington North Breakwater Light and finish the day at the gift shops and grounds of Big Sable Point Lighthouse in Ludington.
