Join us on an easy, 3 to 4 hour paddle on a beautiful and pristine section of the Flint River. Home to the bald eagle and heron. Paddle from Holloway Dam to the Genesee County Park headquarters. Bring your own boat. Meet at put-in to caravan cars to the take out. From Davison, go north on Davison Rd 6.5 miles to Stanley Rd. Go East on Stanley 1 mile to Oak Rd, then go North 0.5 miles to Carr Road. Take Carr Rd 0.3 miles to launch at the base of the Holloway Dam. Contact Linda Berker. $1 donation.

Participate or watch the annual Canoe Race in Holly. For more information visit website at www.headwaterstrailsinc.org. Meet at Water Works Park, 690 S. Broad Street, Holly. Take I-75 to N. Holly Rd. Go S through the Village of Holly to the T-Intersection with Hadley Street. Turn one block east (left) then right on S. Broad Street. Water Works Park is ahead on the left. Carry your craft across the bridge to launch. Three race times in late morning (see website); family paddle starts at 1:00pm. $25 for race; $10 for family paddle (slightly more day of the race). Return transportation provided with registration.
