Paddlers will put in below the Kent Lake Dam and take out downstream at the Placeway Bridge Site picnic areawhere a warm fire will be waiting along with warm refreshments! This outing is free except for the entrance fee to get into the park. NO small children or pets are allowed on this outing, and personal floatation devices (PFD) are required for all participants. Hike Bloomer #3with us, part of the Ortonville Recreation Area. This is considered a moderate hike about 4.5 miles long. There are beauiful rolling hills which are also used for X-country skiing in the winter. There is also a sledding hill. Take M-15 to Ortonville. Go East on Oakwood Rd. about 1 mile.
