It's always Earth Day at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Okemos and they are looking for volunteers to help in the park on Saturday August 18 at 9-11am. Volunteers will help prepare the flower beds, pull invasive plants in the woods and general grounds clean-up. The Harris Nature Center is holding a Stewardship Day once a month, April - September.
