The My Cub and I Nature Camp is for 1-3 year olds. Timber Tots Nature Camp is for 3-4 year olds. Camps meet at 9 am-10 am or 11 am-12 pm. If your preschool camper's schedule doesn't permit a week of camp, they can still connect with nature at the Harris Nature Center by participating in a two-day nature camp. The camp is called "Cool Critters" and runs from 9 am to 12 pm on July 26-27. All camps include nature activities, walks, games and crafts. The fee is $32/session. Campers should dress for the weather. Registrations now being accepted. Two-day session $32/ child/ 2-day camp. Includes a camp tee shirt. Please pre-register.

Children will make a connection with nature through outdoor activities such as archery, fishing, geo-caching and games and nature activities. This 4-day camp meets Monday-Thursday July 30-August 2 at 9:30am-3:30pm at the Central Park pavilion. The fee is $125 for all four days. The My Cub and I Nature Camp is for 1-3 year olds. Timber Tots Nature Camp is for 3-4 year olds. Camps meet at 9 am-10 am or 11 am-12 pm. It's always Earth Day at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Okemos and they are looking for volunteers to help in the park on Saturday August 18 at 9-11am. Volunteers will help prepare the flower beds, pull invasive plants in the woods and general grounds clean-up. The Harris Nature Center is holding a Stewardship Day once a month, April - September.
