I'll be teaching and performing at this family-friendly weekend retreat for ukulele players of all levels. A diverse offering of workshops led by expert instructors, concerts, jamming, dancing and lots of fun. Classes include beginner-level instruction, technique workshops (fan strokes, claw hammer, fingerpicking), genre-based classes (Swing, Big Band, 80s music, etc.), playing by ear, soloing skills, embellishments, turnarounds and more.

The Catbird Seat showcases the harmony singing of Wanda Degen and Kay Rinker-O'Neil accompanied by autoharp, dulcimer, flute, and guitar. Ben Hassenger, Pat Malloy, and Steve Szilagyi make up The Ukulele Kings, an all-uke trio featuring clever songwriting, sparkling instrumentals, and an entertaining “aloha” vibe.
