I'll be teaching and performing at this family-friendly weekend retreat for ukulele players of all levels. A diverse offering of workshops led by expert instructors, concerts, jamming, dancing and lots of fun. Classes include beginner-level instruction, technique workshops (fan strokes, claw hammer, fingerpicking), genre-based classes (Swing, Big Band, 80s music, etc.), playing by ear, soloing skills, embellishments, turnarounds and more.

The Ukulele Kings and The Catbird Seat

The Catbird Seat showcases the harmony singing of Wanda Degen and Kay Rinker-O'Neil accompanied by autoharp, dulcimer, flute, and guitar. Ben Hassenger, Pat Malloy, and Steve Szilagyi make up The Ukulele Kings, an all-uke trio featuring clever songwriting, sparkling instrumentals, and an entertaining “aloha” vibe. A lively jam session will follow the show, bring your instruments!
