| 7:00 pm | Lansing Area Shape Note Singing, bi-monthly We sing for our enjoyment, not for performance, in a non-worship setting, from "The Sacred harp," an old traditional shape note hymnal, in continuous publication since 1844. This style of singing is an old tradition, once used primarily in rural southern churches, but now found around the globe, featuring wonderful harmonies and poetry. | 7:00 pm | Lansing Area Shape Note Singing, bi-monthly We sing for our enjoyment, not for performance, in a non-worship setting, from "The Sacred harp," an old traditional shape note hymnal, in continuous publication since 1844. This style of singing is an old tradition, once used primarily in rural southern churches, but now found around the globe, featuring wonderful harmonies and poetry.
