<p class="description">As friends of the late Utah Philips, both Mark Dvorak and Ed Trickett have tales to tell and songs to sing about the folk legend. From their Chicagoland homes, Dvorak and Trickett have gathered these pieces and shaped them into what will be an evening full of songs and stories involving union meetings, strike breakers, scabs, freight hoppers, moonshine, policemen, politicians, and many other very colorful characters as the art of telling or singing a good story was one of Utah's finest skills. Gate opens at 7 pm; doors open at 7:30 pm. General admission seating.</p>

<p class="description">Rayna Gellert has been the fiddler and a singer in the Freight Hoppers, Uncle Earl, and with Frank Lee. She is regularly a finalist in the fiddle contest at the Appalachian Stringband Festival in Clifftop (WV) and is a popular instructor at The Swannanoa Gathering. Susie Goehring adds a very clean guitar sound and tight vocals. Together they select classy songs and present them in a straight-forward, honest, traditional style.
