DESCRIPTION:Car camp for 3 nights on AuTrain Lake at the Au Train Lake NFS Campground in the UP. AuTrain Lake is 830 acres and features good fishing for northern pike\, walleye and perch. Tuesday\, we’ll canoe the river\, which is gentle with no obstructions. Start from Northwoods canoe livery on the north side of the lake\, and paddle down river to Lake Superior\, about 10 miles and 4-5 hours. Rentals available for $40 per canoe. Wednesday we’ll hike the Bluebird and North Country trails and beach to swim. Call for reservations by July 15th.
