Hurd is known for her intelligent lyrics and quirky live performance style. Hurd’s music is a mix of delicate piano\, soul singing\, folk songwriting\, and bluegrass rhyme schemes. Her songs have been finalists in NPR’s NewSong Music Contest\, The John Lennon Songwriting Contest\, and the Unisong International Songwriting Competition. Doors open at 7 pm.
