Description:

Proud Lake Hike. 11am. Hike about 5-miles at a moderate pace in this fairly level, wooded park along the Huron River. Bring water & boots; goes rain or shine. Interesting bogs and river views with chance for skunk cabbage and early wildflower sightings. Spring Beauties should have arrived! Optional restaurant stop after hike. From I-96 exit 159, follow Wixom Rd. north 7 miles; use the parking lot beyond the H.Q. ranger station. Tom Griebe 248-349-8782.
